What would you think about a group of girls who worked as servers but lied to men to make more money?

in my hometown we have this place downtown , its always been pretty popular and such. but the girls that work there , i don't know i get that stuff costs more money and i realise if you walk in a grocery store it costs a fortune to buy food these days

but still what there doing doesn't really seem right either. they pretty much all already have boyfriends yet they expect men to come in and visit them after work or whenever. and they aren't open about there relationships sometimes or dating men from other places so you don't ever see them there and aren't aware of it

and sometimes i'll see out of town men there at night and it can get even worse , they get them to buy them free shots ( yes buy the bartender free shots ) and like work them so they leave an even bigger tip, all well hoping to never see them again cause they already have a boyfriend

like i get that with inflation things cost a lot and i guess it be temping if you were at work and knew that if i lied to this guy i'm never going to see again you'd get an extra $10 or $20 right

anyways what would you think of these girls? like seriously

was there Friday night , saw this play go down again , 4 out of town men who had never been at bar arrived and sat at bar. these 2 bartenders eventually had them buying them free shots. who goes to a bar to buy the bartender free shots at full price?
i don't know what there bill was but it must of been huge , its like this happens everyday

business levels at this place have tanked and its like never busy now since summer ended. out of desperation they have new specials this winter , 50 % off certain food items on weekdays and drink specials on weekends but not sure it be enough to bring people back in , as i think its the servers that are the issue not the prices

found this article online it talks about bar scams , some of the things the girls do are mentioned in it. is 4 signs of a bar scam , girls are not attractive , order 3 drinks for round 1 , drink very fast , suggest more drinks. not 1 or 2 but do drink very fast and do suggest more shots
also 2 more red flags - girls approaching you and they suggest a venue. well there already at the venue so no need for 2 and they do approach men at the bar which they say is unnatural and a red flag,

it appears they decided to move on , well some of them did. some of these girls suddenly have " new jobs " this summer and aren't working full time as servers at that place. a couple in real estate , insurance and even dental hygene.
i haven't seen them pull this stunt for a while there but its hard to watch them all the time , i guess they decided there was legitimate money available for them to make instead

they do this to random men who show up at that place on weekends , its like a scam. they pretend to be interested in being friends with them , so they order more drinks and ring up the tab and often even get them to buy them free shots.

like free shots for the servers who work there , don't they already get a staff discount?

and they don't even post pictures about there boyfriend's to there instagram , most have it set to private and only shows a pretty picture of them and no mention of boyfriend

i was lied to by a specific girl who works there , i didn't go there and think the girls with boyfriend's would actually want to see me outside the bar.

this girl supposedly was single and asked me to do a shot with her x mas of 2021 , then i saw her again summer of 2022 and though that she wanted to spend time with me there , we even did a shot together on my birthday only to find out a week later that she had been seeing someone else

it was one of the most hurtful things i've experienced when at a bar and they had plenty of chances to talk to me privately to explain to me the situation so i'd at least know the truth and be able to move on with my life but would never even apolgise to talk to me about it

wanted to try again to speak to you about this , what i was witnessing there was NOT the typical girl does her job acts nice to guy and he mis interprets the signs and thinks she is interested.

no what i'd see there was something entirely different , almost like the management had told the servers to specifically target large groups of out of town men , likely in an effort to boost sales and get bigger tips. they'd ignore other paying customers , infant is a lot of reviews on google about this place and person after person writes in saying how bad the customer service was and how servers didn't even appear interested in being there

but that wasn't how they'd act when a group of out of town men would appear , suddenly they'd appear attentive , ask them questions, talk to them , provide them with customer service that goes beyond the basics , sometimes they'd do shots at the bar with them. they'd act like they were interested in spending time with them at the bar despite fact they didn't even know who these men were and most of there servers already had boyfriend's

why would a server who already had a boyfriend supposedly be " interested " in the fact a group of guys she had never meet before has came into the place where she works one night? why would she even care? unless she was told to care cause this was her chance to score a much bigger tip than normal or boost bars sales for the night

and the owner of this restaurant is definitely the type of person who would do this sort of thing , he's obsessed with daily sales numbers and has the servers text him them after every shift.

he's also obsessed with hiring attractive white younger women and refuses to let anyone else serve there. despite the fact there is laws in our country which clearly state you cannot discriminate against someone based on there age , sex , marriage status , ethnicity etc

his way around our laws is to not post ads on popular job search sites and he has no web site or online application to apply , he doesn't even seem to post any help wanted ads for servers at all. he even posted an add this spring on instagram claiming to only be hiring kitchen staff and hosts for summer season despite obviously needing servers

so yes this guy is definitely sketchy enough to pull a stunt like this , he's likely one of the most questionable and ethically challenged restaurant owners i can ever recall encountering

so i do believe its possible if not extremely likely he told the servers or manager to do stuff like this to boost sales and generate extra revenue

his type seems to be - white , female , 17-25 , nice body , often nicer than average boobs , out going and fun personality , a lot of the girls he seems to hire just as there finishing high school or when college students.

i can't believe they all haven't quit by now, imagine being a young women in a small town and being told that you should pretend to be interested in these men and get them to order more just to boost sales

i get that things are expensive these days and easy money hard to come by. but still it shows the dark side of women and money. and what some are willing to do to get there hands on it. i don't know exactly what these girls needed the money for so badly but had to be something that justified this

and its not like these girls have no other options , there young , attractive , out going , college educated. perhaps they just didn't want to enter the work force and find a real job?

well in our town there isn't a lot of other places downtown to see people at but i agree there was an issue with only seeing some of them there and not other places around here.

its definitely a scam bar , is an article online i found about bar scams in eastern Europe and the signs your being targeted by scammers.

this bar just about checks them all off except the one about girls not being attractive but they do the other things mentioned such as drinking very fast and suggesting more drinks

they also approach men at the bar which they say is also a red flag. they also suggest testing the girls to see if there genuinely interested

well i remember once a guy did just that boy did it go over badly , he asked one of the girls for her # and she gave him a fake one but he found out cause he didn't wait to call it he tried to call it rate away when she was still at bar and it lead to a big argument and one of the customers told him to leave

these just some of the negative reviews , is positive ones too but a lot of customers seem to feel some of the staff were not friendly and didn't want to be there

but weird when these out of town men are at the bar its complete opposite , they act friendly , talk to them , work them , get them to buy them free drinks but apparently they don't treat everyone that way

and is customers leaving the restaurant who felt they were treated rudely which is a really big NO in business and customer service to have customers feel that way. and this review below , is some who seem to think staff distracted and not happy when at work there or really want to even be there
