What Girls Said
As a girl that has been constantly harassed by guys that do NOT understand the meaning of the word "No" or "Not interested" or "Leave me alone", I have to answer this question with a decisive "Yes" because there is no other option left to me.
I don't swear nor curse and thus I would never say "F**k off" or anything similar to a person.
My weapon of choice for turning down a person that is a harasser, a pervert or any other person that cannot (or does not want to) understand those words in any of the 4 languages that I currently speak is my faithful mace (pepper spray) that I carry at all times with me.
It is very persuasive; much better than any word and has helped me numerous times in difficult situations.
The question does not apply to you then, hence the term "unnecessary" rudeness. Yours would've been necessary.
