I feel like I’m in the friend zone?

Its this coworker female at my job, dat grew on me with her personality and generosity., I’m starting to like her a lot, but the thing is, I don’t think I’m attracted to her, but I kno for a fact she’s comfortable around me. We talk, text, she brung me food on my off day, and she even invited me to Waffle House after work. Everyone at the job even notice we always together. I even sometimes try to flirt with her, to let her kno I like her, because recently she told me she’s looking for someone and is interested in doing the ballon pop dating show on YouTube. Last week I told her “ if I ask u on a date, would u accept it”? She replied “ we can hang out, but not date, because we work together and don’t wanna cause any conflict issues. I respected her boundaries. I like her a lot and I could see myself with her, but I think she sees me as a friend but I kno for a fact she knows I like her, but I guess she don’t wanna hurt my feelings.

Smart girl. Now you need to be equally smart. You only want to hope that you are in the friend zone because dating coworkers is never a good idea. It is the worst idea ever. What happens when you two have a massive fight and then have to face each other at work? Are you going to quit? Is she going to quit? Are you going to be able to get along? She realizes this and made the right choice by telling you she doesn't want workplace conflict. That is the right decision. It is obvious that you like her and have feelings or want to. Shove those aside and just do what you are there to do which is work, not date.

This lady is right, she has class and she let you know that "you don't defecate where you eat", meaning you never ever mix fornication with work. This is an absolute no go.

The reason is that this creates jealousies among the co-workers and makes the working climate so much worse.

Being in that friend zone is actually the best that can happen in that situation because she leaves you in there so that you can find a person that is more appropriate to you in the future.

Take her advice and forget about her for as long as you work together. You will find someone else that is probably better suited for you.

Because she's either playing games or completely not into you, so you need to back away. If she's interested, she'll come to you, if she's not, she'll appreciate that you left her alone. Win-win.

Unfortunately it looks the exact same as girls not being interested. So your only option is to leave them alone and sometimes if they were playing hard to get, they come back to you. But sometimes they're also looking to see how hard you will try for them. You don't want to be with those types anyway
