Girls, Why does she act strange?

there is this girl I know who always seems to ignore me in class and is a social butterfly but recently I notice she glances at me 1 or 2 times during the class and the other day she said to her freind he is leaving as i left and she barely even knows me and finally I walked past with a freind of mine and when she saw me she hugged her best freind for like a whole minute. does she like me hate me or is she conflicted or is it all just chance?

Maybe she likes you... Because I act really different when I like a guy for example I might glance at him but if he looks at me I'll quickly look away when I see he is walking I might ask my friends if we can go for a walk and don't go near him so it isn't obvious but in a seeing distance. Also I'll try to strike a conversation with him any way possible if I can get the courage but usually I wait for him to talk first I might also be very unintentionally rude to him and might talk to all the other boys normally and him not as much
