Create a story that doesn't revolve around white people. The hero is black and the villain is white = woke. A white woman can solve her problems without a virile white man = woke. The most intelligent character in the story is a black woman and not a white man = woke. The story is about superheroes and the richest hero in the universe is not a white man = woke. The strongest superhero is a black man and not a white man = woke. There is more than one LGBT couple in the story = woke. The LGBT couple adopted a child in the film = woke. The adopted child is black = super woke.

But now its been so overused it lost most of its meaning, and like so many other words it became just a buzzword some people use when they don't agree with your opinion.

To me it's anyone who cares far more about image than substance, a person who isn't sincere in what they profess to believe. They're hypocritical, can't handle constructive criticism, lack self-respect, and have no self-awareness. Contrary to popular belief, a person on the right within the political spectrum can also be "woke" (ex. Ben Shapiro, the rabid Zionist who thinks any criticism of Israel is "anti-semitism").
