Why do we lift our leg up when our guy kisses us?

I know that we sometimes do some things that are reflexive or learned. I know that when my man kisses me, I lift one leg. I read somewhere that this was learned from Hollywood. I am not sure. I seem to do this instinctively. Do any other women do this? Guys, does your woman do this?

It helps them keep their balance. Most girls look up and kind of lean back when kissed and lifting a leg helps steady their bodies. That's what I've been told and it makes sense, I guess.

Have you ever seen a female dog in heat lift her tail in the presence of a male dog? It's unmistakable, and it's the same physiological response.

Well it is when they do it in movies. LOL
When a woman is standing in front of me and we're kissing, I can't see if she's doing it or not.

Something one girlfriend and also my (future) wife did after our first dates was to put their hands on top of my shoulders, look up into my eyes, rise up on their tip toes, press against me, and kiss my lips. Naturally, my hands went to their waists.
But I really liked that for a first kiss. And, for all I know, they lifted their leg. :D
