Lately I’ve been getting a lot of dms and hit on in public by women.

Lmao, I went to Austin, TX maybe five years ago dolo for a concert, and hit up the Sixth Street bars. I’m good at making fast friends, especially at bars/parties, and the time I went before I got absorbed by this crew of ladies within a few minutes.

Was hoping for the same fortune this time, and instead had some little short dude sidle up to me at the bar, introduced himself, and I thought I had a potential wingman. But after I gave him my name, he ran one of his fingers on my thigh and said “you’re pretty cute, Steve.”

I tried to be cool, and just politely told him I was flattered but I wasn’t wired for all that, but we could be homies. He was cool, and in taking to him I found out that he was in a frat at U of Texas and wasn’t out of the closet. So I kind of felt bad for the kid, and respected the courage it took for a small guy to approach a big guy, in a place like Texas (albeit Austin), and shoot his shot with a random guy he doesn’t know from a can of paint, with no reason I can think of to assume I would be interested (other than being a snappy dresser😎😝). I feel like that could be a potentially hazardous situation for him, unfortunately.

That said (and I’ll blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol lmao), this dude kept trying to change my mind, like several times, and I did start to get a little annoyed, internally. I don’t care if you hit on me, but just drop it when I rebuff you. This dude was like “but how can you know you don’t like it if you never tried?” And I’m just like “young homey…. I JUST KNOW”, lmao. It’s non-negotiable😂

Other than that, not too much. I do remember getting a text from a strange number years ago telling me I was “hott” (with two Ts, ayyyyyy😎😂), and that I’m “probably not curious, but if I am” they’d “do anything I want”, lmao. Again…flattered, but where the hell are these texts from the LADIES?😂

Oh, and my family used to vacation on Cape Cod near this town that’s a big gay vacation spot, maybe the biggest, and this was back in the day when shit was more repressed, so they REALLY let loose, lmao. Anyway, I was usually young for that, but I remember going there once in college when my parents went and stayed a few nights, and some passing dude on the street was like “ooh, HELLO” to his friends when I passed.

Beyond that, not much. Shit, you gotta have a near-flawless physique to impress those bros, lmao, I’d need six hours a day at the gym😂

I've learned to not be nice... call them a foggat from the start and they go away. If you try to be nice, they'll keep trying and it gets effing annoying.

And look I don't know why the gays hit on me, but I'm the wrong target... I can't even tell what other guys look like. I have like zero ability. So when a dude tells me I'm ugly or whatever, I'm just thinking "He must be a fag." I mean how else can you tell if I'm ugly? I can't tell if you are.

I’m more patient nowadays. Most gay men I know are respectful. Yeah I unfortunately met a few creeps out there. But most of them know not to overstep their boundaries.

But nowadays given so many have “come out” they got plenty of options to find with fewer guesswork.

Another thing I notice is given women are naturally more “touchy” and like to compliment each other. This gives lesbian and bi women more leeway to hit on other women.
