i mean male friends for girls, and female friends for guys.
Of the few people I would consider friends, three of them are guys. The other two are female.
We've been hanging out for a long time, one from when I was 9 and the other two from when I was about 16.
These two I met at high school and even though we didn't hang out back then, we had the best time during class and started hanging out after graduation. The three of us have seen the country together; spend more money on food than with whomever I have in my life; and recently went on vacation together. They'd genuinely drive six hours just to be present at my graduation ceremony from university if they could.
People often have a hard time believing we've been getting along so well, as a trio, without ever having had any sexual desires, but honestly even if there was, we'd respect one another and our boundaries.
If anything, I have some of the deepest, most interesting conversations with these men and I love having them in my life.
I actually have more guy friends than female friends (4-5 guys friends, as opposed to one or two female friends). I tend to get along with guys more than females... no offense ladies. I've just had so many toxic, bad experiences with female friends it's hard finding reliable, trustworthy women I can be myself around without worrying about them stabbing me in the back, gossiping, or being flaky.
And yes, I realize some men can be just as bad- just speaking from -my- personal experience on friendships.
Nah , never really had female friends because for one thing.. They're not very relatable , you can't really have fun with them.. and also whenever I'm somewhat close to a girl and we're like friends or acquaintances.. she ends up hitting on me at some point lol.
most of my close friends are women, yes...
not sure how many would you call many, but more females than males, yes...
as for acquaintances though... more men than women in that case

Yeah- I've got a few close female friends- and I'd consider them my best friends. I always worried when I was dating that it would be an issue for any romantic partners, but my wife is very supportive of me having female friends, and encourages me to spend time with them.
I have always had more guys than girls as friends. I usually get along better with guys and have more in common with them. They are more chill and down to earth. Girls tend to be dramatic and toxic and you never know where truly stand with them. There are obviously exceptions.
I used to. 90% of my friends were guys. I’ve recently reconnected with some but yea most ended up having gfs who saw me as a threat. I don't know why, i was not into their dudes AT ALL.
That's too bad. I was afraid of romantic partners not liking my female friends or restricting my interaction with them, but it luckily didn't happen to me. My wife actually encourages me to spend time with my female friends.
@matchrestore i honestly won't encourage it if its opposite sex. I’ll encourage same sex IF i think theyre a positive influence
It helps that they all get along well with my wife. We're all also really open about everything.
About half of my closest friends are girls, but this might be a special case as I have known all of those since elementary school or earlier. Many of my closest male friends I met after turning 20.
i do. i've always had a fair share of female friends... probably more than the average guy
I used to, It just turned out that way, After I got married I sort of drifted away from all these people that were such a big part of my life.
I used to, but I kept getting them pregnant.
Most of my friends are male, and 95% of the people I work with every day are also male.
Yes I do. Females make good friends to males (not so much for other females).
To be honest I do have quite a few... Much the same as my husband does.
I've always got better along with guys than girls. So, most of my friends are men.
More female friends... very few male friends!
Not many but a few, yes. Not like friends-friends-going-out-and-doing-things but close enough on that level. I like having female friends.
Those are the ONLY kind of female friends I have! Is there another kind I'm not aware of?
i don't have many friends but i've always had an easier time being friends with women
Do you mean any of the 150 odd genders we're told of?
I'm in college so I've friends of 70 different genders.
@Valdemort I identify as gender fluid and me pronouns are them, this way I can be an lgbtq member and they leave me alone on campus
Not many guy friends for me. I got female friends if anything.
No, I somehow see nothing being common between me and a female for a friendship and vice versa
I have four male friends I see all the time
Everyone don't get chance to make male and female friends both
I have two good female freinds, but most of my friends are guys.
