Author's Opinion: 👫 "Yes, most of my friends are guys. For whatever reason, me and other girls don't really get along well. My last friendship that I had with a girl (my ex-best friend) was extremely toxic. She was a bully and would do everything she could to make me feel insecure and insignificant. It took a lot of courage but I finally removed her from my life. I honestly think it's just easier being friends with a guy because there's no competition or cattiness."

Yes and their female. Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you cannot establish a relationship with a woman being a man but unfortunately a good deal of us are insecure immature and unsure of how things go. If you are real and open minded you ain't have a problem but I'm part of the minority. Just to tickle your integrity I would hang with my female friends no sex involved and have fun one is the nude beach wed be there in our birthday suits I see yours you see mine and? We are human, intelligent mature and responsible which we dint have those situations called drama.

It just worked out that way. I’m in a heavily female dominated career field, have a few female pen pals, both kids are daughters, and I just get along better with women. In the 90’s my mother and the family court system decided I didn’t need a father growing up, which may be a contributing factor.

It’s actually about 50/50 for me, I have 2 guy friends and 2 girl friends that I would say are my true best friends. I grew up around guys more though with my dad and my 2 brothers, but I don’t know if that counts as friends because they’re family, lol.

Let's started with the fact that I don't have many friends to begin with hahahahaha. And yes the people I consider my true friends are mostly guys... about 3 of them in total. Vs. 2 gals that I consider as true friends.

I would think that Hispanic Females have a disproportionately large segment of my total friends, though. Maybe they just think my attempts at Spanish are cute- or pitiful- not sure which - - - - -

I have 1 girl best friend and 1 guy best friend.  In all I have 3 girl friends and 2 Guy friends (including besties).  However I am most close to my guy best friend.

I don't have friends. Maybe some work buddies or mere acquaintances. They are about equal in number it feels like but it might still be more men than women. Men easily approach and get frendly with me.

I have more guy friends than girls, but I get along much better with girls. In fact, my best friends consist of 3 girls. I feel like there are tons of guys that treat girls like sex objects these days. This makes it really hard to get along with those guys. I only talk about hobbies and common interest when it's with guys, but I can share a lot more with the opposite gender. I don't know if it's strange to anyone but that's just how me and some guys feel.
