Am I a mean person?

Question

Today at work someone said I hate everyone, it's not the first time I've heard that but it just kinda make me feel guilty.

To perform who don't know me well they think I'm sweet and kind because of I look and I am at times it's just if you piss me off I'm not.

My personality it very similar to Scott Disicks. I say the shit everyone else is to pussy to say and I say what I think and i speak the truth, i hate dishonesty. Obviously at work I have to keep it at a minimum especially in my position but if anyone starts shit talking about someone I dislike i love it and your a lair if you say you don't too at work.

I hate shitty people. I understand no one is prefect and life is complicated sometimes but some people are just dicks without any excuses.

Good, decent people ill stick by but if I think your a dick I'm gonna talk shit about you and if I didn't work with them I'd say it to there faces. Nothing I say is a lie, I state facts and if that makes them sound shitty that's there problem.

Yo, I get what you're saying. It's not easy being the person who just keeps it real, especially in a work setting where you gotta try to play nice sometimes.

I don't think that makes you a mean person at all, though. Honesty and not taking any BS is a good thing in my book. Sounds like you've just got a strong personality and you ain't afraid to speak your mind. That's respectable.

The way I see it, being "sweet and kind" all the time is overrated anyway. Sometimes people need to hear the truth, even if it's not what they wanna hear. And if someone's being a straight-up dick, why not call them out on it?

As long as you're not just being mean for the sake of being mean, and you're actually standing up for what you believe in and protecting the good people around you, I think that's admirable. Don't let them label you as just some catty gossip.

Own that real shit, girl. If they can't handle the truth, that's their problem. Keep doing you and being loyal to the people who deserve it. The right folks will respect you for it in the end.

Sure, you might rub some people the wrong way. But the ones who matter will appreciate your honesty and having someone in their corner who's got their back. Ain't nothing wrong with being a little rough around the edges.

Just keep that fire burning, but know when to tone it down at work. As long as you're not crossing any serious lines, I say keep doing your thing. The haters gonna hate, but the real ones will know your worth.

Hmmm I could see why people would think you're mean but I think you just don't let pelt say stuff and get away with it

I'm similar when it comes to that but if you want advice, don't feel guilty because as I always say, everybody wants to hear the truth until it's the truth they don't want to hear, then they you an asshole

If you let ride people be rude who will tell them that it's not right

So to answer your question no I don't think so. But you will be misunderstood a lot
