This was the hardest Christmas ever. Am I just lonely? My husband of 20 years passed right before Christmas last year, that season was like a blur like it wasn’t really happening. This year I’ve been a full year plus without him and I’m ready to start dating, I think. I was extremely lonely without him. My daughter who’s 19 asked me to come out with her and her girlfriends for NYE to a bar. I think I’m going to. Get all sexied up in my hottest little outfit and go! But I’m nervous about dating again. Where do I meet guys? How does it all work? Do guys still approach you and hit on you? Where do I go for hot guys. I’m 41 I’m fit and I still think I’m fairly attractive. Would younger guys be interested in me? I feel young. I also have womanly needs that haven’t been met in over year!! I’m having such strong urges. Even if it’s not a relationship I’m open to a fling with a hunk lol.. where do I go to start dating?

I’d recommend avoiding dating sites unless you really struggle to find someone in person. Dating sites are good when you’re young but around age 30 and up, dating sites can be a mess and be more stressful than it’s worth.

Where do you start? You just go and start. If you have the opportunity to go out in a group then go for it. Wanna try a dating site try it out. I wouldn’t recommend online dating as that’s a lot of work but it may teach you a few things about dating in 2024. See if you can keep going out irl and mostly just try to be open and ready to meet and mingle with new people. Even if you are not attracted to everyone you meet doesn’t mean they might not know a guy to vibe with you.
