Does sitting down to pee ever get annoying?

No it doesn't. It is a part of life for girls so at my age or even a young age we are just used to it. I don't believe guys typically sit to pee because they don't have to. That's a luxury they have due to anatomy. For girls it is a necessity and not something that is annoying at all. It actually makes it easier and much more hygienic. It is easier to properly clean after using the bathroom when seated. Trust me when I say there would be a lot bigger mess than there already is in girls bathrooms if we were all trying to do that standing. It is bad enough that you have girls that hover above the toilet because they don't want to sit and can't be bothered to get one of those protective shields that most restrooms where I live have.
