I’d say enjoying gossip or drama, or just generally knowing every detail of your friends’ lives.

I just found out recently that one of good friends of 27 years now has two brothers. Never knew that, thought he was an only child. My lady was blown away that I wouldn’t know that. I have two half brothers, one of whom I’m a legal guardian for (special needs), and I bet more than half of my friends have no idea, most of them for about the same 27-ish years of friendship, lmao.

Like that’s not the level we kick it on, that’s not why we’re friends, so it’s not what we talk about. We talk about sports, stupid shit, and then mostly just clowning on each other. We’re not like “so how’s your family?”, lmao. These guys have kids, I don’t know most of their names😂

We aren’t friends for the purpose of sharing our personal lives with each other, we’re friends to ESCAPE our personal lives and the accompanying bullshit, that’s the best way I could put it😝

So women being all involved in each other to the degree I see they sometimes are….. that gives me so much anxiety, lmao, I don’t want anyone to know me that well or be expected to be an emotional support system, barring a major tragedy. We ain’t hear to hear how your day was. Who are you, my girlfriend? Lmfao. I have BARELY enough in me to be “that guy” for my lady, I definitely don’t have time for my friends’ dumbass shit, nor do they for mine, lmao. We all had a tough day, shut the fuck up and stop talking over the ballgame on TV😂

Female friends, it’s different, but guy friends, it’s just “don’t be the one dude in an all-guys dynamic trying to ‘vent’…. we love ya, bro, but this ain’t the lane for all that, with all respect”, haha

I'm guessing the vast majority of guys don't understand why we go to the bathroom in groups. That starts at a younger age for most of us but I still do it now and for much different reasons. I've had guys ask about why it is that we do it and even after explaining they still don't understand the logic. So I've stopped trying to explain or reason. Another thing lots of guys don't understand is why it takes us girls (in general) to get ready. That's another one that defies most guys' logic. Those are a couple of good examples that lots of guys and girls would be able to relate to. I'm sure there are lots more that I'm not aware of that guys question why we do it.

It really is, two things we can't understand are the girls going to the bathroom together in a restaurant, and the dressing up time exceeding 1 hour. Also, why do they spend hours visiting each store when it comes to shopping?

For me, it's playing with my hair. During the day I usually have my hair in a bun but on dates, I like to wear it down, flowing in front of my shoulders. Then, when dinner comes, I'll put it behind my shoulders and constantly brush it away from my face while I eat. I've actually had two boyfriends ask why I do that! It's because I want to show off my hair while we're just talking but don't want to get in my food or mouth while we're eating lol

Saying “I’m fine” when they’re absolutely not. Guys take words at face value, but for many girls, “I’m fine” is code for I want you to notice, ask again, and actually listen. It’s not about being difficult—it’s about wanting emotional effort without having to spell it out.

No but because sometimes we ourselves can't understand our own nature, behaviour that why we do so. Or why we did so. There is no like consistent path that we would always follow the same but sometimes we just do things even we don't know why we do so. It's not based on any logics or anything but sometimes even logic fails. We are very much unpredictable and it's not just about mood swings or only during periods but sometimes just gut feelings or intuition. Or sometimes we don't even know why.
