Ladies, why are your purses necessary?

I get that you need your keys, your wallet and now in days, your phone, but, why do you need your purses. Men don't, and we carry those three things, too. Nothing wrong with it, just curious

We don’t have pockets. You know how many pockets of my pants or skirt I can’t even fit my hand in, let alone my phone or wallet? And that’s by design. Women’s clothes used to have pockets so deep they could stuff their skirts full of everything they’ve ever owned and escape abusive marriages. So fashion changed to make that impossible because women were still considered property then.

Keys, wallet, phone, medication, tampons/pads, pepper spray, makeup, a snack or some water and so on. We carry more
