We all need each other. :)

But I'd rather be in the position of wanting rather than needing. Needing is a more transactional state, wanting is a more relational state. If a woman needs a man, it makes her desperate and potentially grasping and manipulative in order to simply survive. But wanting? That's more specific. A guy who knows he's wanted is far safer relationally than a guy who thinks he's only needed. Once the need is met, what's he there for? The same goes for a woman; once she meets a man's sexual desire, why would he bother with anything else?

I mean, men want women, but they don't necessarily need them except for having kids. The reverse is true also; women can have a career and have men take care of everything that the man of the house previously maintained; the roofing, the landscaping, the plumbing, the construction, etc. The difference is in wanting a specific person because they add so much joy and value to our life and we can't imagine life without them in it. It's a higher level and so much healthier.

Need? No. Want? Yes! Men are annoying, frustrating and such a pain but they are also sunshine and reason we get butterflies and feel joy and excitement in an otherwise dull existence!
