Should this be taken seriously?

So I recently reported a manager in my work to HR. She is a female manager and for the past year she has been bullying me. She accused me of talking about her on a work night out and she start shouting at me and accusing me of being with some guy. I was so surprised as I was doing nothing but sitting with a friend. Since this incident she has been actively giving me dirty and angry looks every time I walk by, talking about me in front of me to other colleagues who I do not know and turning people against me. She even spoke about me to the people under her and now they give me dirty looks and ignore me when they are with her. She even texted my male colleague about me saying I was crazy and dangerous and she has tried to isolate me at a previous work event by asking everyone who I was with over to her table. I have reported this to HR but should this be taken seriously?

I didn't read it but I think it should. I think matters like this one are very important to take seriously. Whatever it is.

HR is there to protect the company. They care nothing about you or your treatment. They only care if it could be a lawsuit the company would lose. All you really did was put a bigger target on your back.
