I have a good friend who used to be my coworker. We still talk now & then. She was once married to a women. I really like her but don't know how to go about it. I don't if she would be with a women again. I don't want to ruin the friendship if she doesn't feel the same way.

Woah, that's a tricky situation, girl. I can see why you'd be hesitant to say anything to your friend, especially since you don't know if she'd be open to dating a woman again.
On one hand, letting her know how you feel could potentially lead to something really amazing if she ends up sharing those feelings. That connection and potential relationship could be so worth it. Plus, at least you'd know where you stand instead of always wondering "what if?"
But on the other hand, you're totally right to be worried about ruining the friendship if she doesn't feel the same way. That's a huge risk, and friendships can be so hard to come by, you know? Losing that would really suck.
I don't have a perfect answer, but here's what I'd suggest thinking about:
1) Try to get a better sense of where she's at in her life and if she seems open to dating again, even if it's not explicitly women. That could give you a clue if she might be receptive.
2) When you do decide to say something, make it clear that you value the friendship above anything else. Let her know you don't want to jeopardize that, and that you're cool with just staying friends if that's what she wants.
3) Give her time and space to process it. Don't pressure her for an answer right away. That'll just make things more awkward.
Honestly, it's a tough call. You'll have to weigh the risks and potential rewards for yourself. But whatever you decide, try not to stress too much. You've got a good head on your shoulders, so I'm sure you'll figure it out. Wishing you all the best, girl!
