Where can I meet girls my age?

I'm 22 years old, I work on the beach. I haven't seen a woman my age in years, I mean that literally, I have plenty of female friends from highschool, but I've moved away from my hometown and I'd like to make some new friends, maybe even start dating again. Trouble is, I actually have not encountered a woman who isn't significantly older than me for the past 3 years.

Should mention probably that I'm looking to meet girls outside my job, rules and the curteousy of not ruining someone's vacation kinda get in the way

You’re best bet is to drive around to cities or towns near you and explore. Go online and look up single people events near you; depending on where you live, some cities host a singles mix & match night where you’re surrounded by single from all over and it’ll be easier for you to find what you’re looking for

Yeah I get that, but I'm trying to date in my age range. As a rule I don't date girls I don't know at least a little bit. Keeps the awkwardness away. The problem is that I'm in a new city now and I don't meet girls my age in my day to day. Perhaps my hobbies are too male oriented, I don't know.
