Picture a scenario like this:
A very attractive man (who you do not know personally) has interest in your friend/colleague. He can tell that you are connected to this interest of his, and he asks you to act as a go-between between him and her and relay a small letter with his contact info on it to her. His plan is to be very subtle: if she doesn’t call him back after receiving the letter, he can simply walk away without losing any face, never to see her again.
Now, let us go back to the main question. After he has entrusted you with delivering this letter of his, would you see yourself, or some other person of a very jealous type leaving the letter deliberately undelivered so that your friend/colleague doesn’t get to have this man for herself who you consider very attractive?

What Girls Said
If he's interested in someone else that's not me then I would lose interest in him so no I would never be jealous in this situation. I like people who like me those that don't like me I don't care for them.
So you would deliver the letter. Thank you for your input.
I wouldn't do it cause I think men should be strong enough to either ask out the woman himself or give her the letter himself this is not playground anymore
What if he didn’t have an easy way to get to her?
If he can get his friend he can easily get her
Hmm.
Well, let’s pretend that you were her work colleague in some restaurant. The guy comes to the restaurant, and he starts asking for the lady he is interested in from you, the receptionist. You inform him that she is not currently at work. Then he hands you the contact info letter and asks you to kindly deliver it to her, telling you that he is only on a temporary visit to this area and will have to leave sooner than your colleague will return to work.
Under this circumstance, would you still choose not to deliver the letter?
Your honest input is appreciated. Thank you.
I would still not deliver the letter as why would a man want to give a letter to a woman if he's not gonna stay in the area? It don't make sense
Let’s say he had a solo dinner at the restaurant before and really enjoyed her company and small talk as a waitress. For one reason or another, he didn’t get to give his number to her then and there at that dinner. He’d come back a day or two later just to fix that, and entrust you with taking the letter to her since she’s not at work. He’s not going to be in the same area as her in the immediate term, but he wishes to establish a contact with her and see if it could blossom to something special in the future.
You have pointed out in clear terms you would not deliver the letter. I take it that that would still not change.
That's even more creepy dude, she's a waitress she's supposed to be nice she's doing her job, no I definitly won't be giving a letter in this situation
Alright, thanks for your input. I wish other people also replied to this question…
you're welcome
Would you inform your colleague about the fact that the guy tried to reach out to her or would you choose to keep her in dark?
I would tell her i m not the kind of person to keep things to myself
Confused. You would tell her but you would not deliver her the letter from the guy? What would you do to the letter?
Please clarify… thanks
I would read the letter then tell her some creep went to ask for her
But you would not give the letter itself to her? You’d get rid of it instead of passing it to her?
yep, it's kinda creepy to do this kind of suttff so I won't give out the letter
I see. So you’d effectively take matters into your own hands instead of letting her decide on her own whether or not to contact the guy.
yea kinda
Alright. So the guy came back asking for her, and you’d inform her about that without giving her the letter the guy entrusted you to deliver. What if your friend/colleague showed visible signs of sadness upon realizing she missed the opportunity to get to know the guy, by not having been there when he came back asking for her? Would you still withhold the letter?
Did you read my latest question? So how would you react?
dude you're making films In your head no waitress is gonna want to go out with a client she saw one time that live far away
non I did not see it
No need to dodge the question. And whether or not someone would like another only after meeting them once depends wholly on the people in question. Some people can form a strong connection easily if they feel something very special.
Even though all of my questions here have been hypothetical, I’d appreaciate your honest input this one last time.
So if it dawned on you that the waitress happened to like this guy, would you still keep the letter hidden? Or do you think you would have discarded of it permanently before that point, making the delivery of the letter impossible?
A conneciton can form on the moment but it usually never go further than that especially with women who are know to be trained to act nice to people in general and customer even more especially in Anglo saxon countries.
I would have discarded the letter ways before
Alright, thanks for your input.
