Why do women say that men are oblivious to signals?

From my experience, men are not oblivious to signals. Its just that you are too afraid to be direct enough to send PROPER SIGNALS. Asking him "where are you going for lunch today?" is not a goddamn signal of interest. Its either you aren't sending him proper signals OR he simply isn't interested. Don't confuse him deliberately ignoring your signals of interest with him not being aware of your interest

Thank fucking god a woman is finally saying it. "Where are you going for lunch today" is a small talk question. It's basically on the same level as "Nice weather we're having."

"Would you like to get lunch together sometime." or "Do you want to hang out together at lunch sometime?" That's a casual not overly direct signal that guys will pick up on.

nine times out of 10 this is what happens when a guy doesn't ask you out when you "Show interest." because we're worried it's going to be case number 967 of "I was just being friendly." and then we get embarrassed and disappointed at the same time so a lot of the time if you're not 100% sure you just assume they're being nice.

Yup, women all seem to want to believe that men are clueless when it comes to their bizarre "super obvious" hints and flirting techniques. They NEVER seem to consider (or admit to themselves) that men pick up on it and simply choose to ignore those indirect attempts at communicating interest. That's exactly what I do all the time. I was out last night and I did exactly that with 4 different women.

I'm betting a lot of guys are like me. I'm not afraid to approach you whether you're flying solo, with a girlfriend, or with a group. It's just that locking eyes, the hair flips, or moving into my proximity, etc. are really tedious and a little childish. You wanna talk to me? Walk up and say hi. That's what I do.

They are not oblivious to signals. They just misread them or think there are signals when there aren't any. Look at the amount of “she smiled at me, does she like me” posts on here.

It's mostly because the signals women make are so slight that we either don't see them or just take them at face value.
Like, if she's sitting in a chair with her legs spread wide open and she's pointing directly at her naked crotch, how am I supposed to know she's not just trying to prove to me that she's a real girl and not a guy in drag? You can't just ASSUME and make snap judgements!! Maybe she just wants me to check out the trim she just got on her pussy. I don't know!!

Thank you. We don’t pick up on signals cause we aren’t the same. A majority of men don’t give signals like this when it comes to communication. There may be a handful who do but a majority of men don’t. Supposedly women are better communicators but for some reason a lot of them can’t use their big girl words to communicate w a man, they’d rather hint at it then get mad when he doesn’t get it right or it completely flies by him.

You answered it yourself. Let's be honest NOBODY like being vulnerable (man or woman). But if women had thier way guys would assume ALL of the risk in male female interaction. Women want men to flirt with them, they want men to do thier bidding. But they want men to do it with ZERO prompting.
