Why do guys always complain about women giving mixed signals?

Its not that simple, women who are interested are usually subtle in the signals they give, whereas women who are not interested but enjoy flirting can also give off many of those same signals.

Guys don't usually pick up on the subtle differences between genuine flirting and non-genuine ego boost flirting. And from my own recent experiences I can understand why, because some girls maybe go too far and its confusing for some of us.

I agree a little on what you're saying, but also somewhat disagree, because there are always certain circumstances both men and women will genuinely like a person and at times try to hide it. Often because they aren't sure how how the other person feels.

It’s always true. It’s just that guys like to over-blow every positive interaction they have with women. Studies have shown that men tend to assume that women are attracted to them when she actually isn’t. It’s a way of keeping his hopes up.

I'll agree, and go along with that for the most part, and it's probably a good rule to go by, but seriously women can play some stupid games trying to get your attention or get you to like them. I have seen with my own eyes many times. Not only my own experiences, but I grew up with two sisters and watched the way they did shit too.
