Have you ever received shock waves, while looking into the eyes of someone attractive, who you don't know?

I was sitting in class today, and something in my head told me to look to the right. When I looked to the right, one of the very pretty girls looked in my direction just at the same time. I was caught off gaurd, and while looking in her eyes, I could feel shock waves flow through me, and gave me those bumps all over my body. So I quickly looked away after 3 seconds. I was still watching her from the corner of my eyes, and I noticed she started shaking, while still looking at me, and then looked down at my feet and sat and stared very still for about 30 seconds.

Have you guys or girls ever get to experience shock waves when looking at someone you found very attractive, that you never even talked to?

Yes , everything went really bright ( presumably my pupils widening ) and my legs went wobbly . My first ever question on this site was about it and the weird stuff that happened afterward.

I know the guy concerned now but I've never dared to ask him how it made him feel . I know he acted very strangely for a while afterward :D

I've always wondered if the fact that I had such an intense feeling from it means that he must have felt the same ? Or if he felt nothing ? After all .. how often do any of us have a really good long stare into somebody elses eyes let alone a stranger of the opposite gender .

It's strange , I'm still at the talking and a bit of flirting stage with him ; but since I started talking to him ( not long after the staring incident ) ,I've always felt very close to him and we've always had very personal conversations . It's like I feel like I have known him for longer than I actually have .

maybe it was cold or an ant bit you at that moment, doesn't mean you felt that from her... also her shaking was most likely not you sending such powerful shockwaves of love, to be honest. It's possible to feel that way when you lock eyes with a special stranger but it's rare and you have a choice to act on it or not... if you like this girl talk to her and see if the sparks are there. If not, then maybe it was a coincidental happening of you getting goosebumps... I get those feelings and bumps on the toilet sometimes and its not really a very special moment for me to be honest.

I have experienced that once before, in a store nontheless lol he was on the other side of the eisle and as we were passing that isle we both looked at each other and came to a complete stop. I swear it felt like we were there for like 3 min straight, I just grew a smile and kinda shy'd away but I did feel like he had the same wobbly knee feeling to him, I felt like we both were in like an awe mode lol. Its pretty crazy but if you felt that she felt that too, she sure as hell could of. There is a such thing as energy and it works in weird ways.

I agree, I literally just had this happen last week. I was walking through the WIU library and I glanced over and this girl and I locked eyes. I felt the most I explainable jolt or shock feeling. It's was, like others have wrote, like we knew each other for ever. It felt like we were connected in some strange way, the energy from stranger, 6' away. She said, hi, I said, hi, and kept walking. Knew that something just amazing but didn't know what to do. It gave me a renewed hope about life and the universe not being random and fake. So, I had a LinkedIn request that day, I didn't pay attention, but then was like wait, it's her!! I accepted and the next day I saw her working there and introduced myself. It was very brief. The next day I sent a Facebook friend request. She then message me asking to hangout. I texted back yes with my number. The next afternoon she text me. We had a few back-and-forth, and then I just asked if she felt what I felt when we locked eyes? She said, "YES!"

I just signed up girlsaskguys.com recently and read this article that exact happened to me last Thursday at Rite Aid store! I feel the same thing however, today is Thursday and my brain is telling me to go back and find her where we first shock waves and lock eyes to each other. that happened once to me. instead of shockwaves, my vision got altered. everything seemed to be in high contrast, like black-and-white. it was interesting.

That is very interesting, I remember when I was experiencing those shock waves, I was looking at the girl and everything felt like it was going in slow motion, even after we stopped looking at each other. But about your high contrast experience, did everything seem to go in slow motion for you as well?

Tht sounds intense, I've had it happen to me one time and it did feel like everything was in slow motion, almost blurred out.

No but I've experienced what it's like to look into someone's eyes and find it hard to tear yourself away from looking at them. It's like you look at their eyes you're somehow transfixed.
