Girls, need advice on going pee outside on DofE?

I'm doing DofE this summer with a group of other girls and boys and need advice on what to do when going outside. I don't really camp or anything so this is like a whole new thing for me! Any advice on what to do and maybe to be less embarrassing as possible would be amazingggg.

Someone told me about a urinal thing you hold close to you and you can pee into it. Anyone used it? Does it work?

What you do is email the event coordinator and ask if there are designated stops. If you are embarrassed about asking about peeing specifically then mix in other questions. Will we have food breaks? Will we have bathroom breaks? And so on. Then ask about the situation for bathroom stops and how that works. Surely this isn't their first time doing this activity... whatever it is. I'm not familiar with DofE or what it entails. I am sure that they have a plan for such needs. I scanned the other opinions and it seems this is a hike? I'm even more sure now that they have designated stops and areas if this is an organized event. I would not worry about it at all if it were me. Good luck and have fun.

I'd still contact the organizer and just be honest about the concern. I'm sure they have answers for you. Sounds like a fun summer activity. I hope you enjoy your hike.

Lean back on a tree and squat although often DoFE tend to camp in places where there are facilities nearby for girls especially.

I go in my tent. There are portable small devices you can buy to pee into, all you need is a bottle. Even just an empty coke bottle.

I wish I had good advice to give because for a guy, it's easy. I don't know how girls manage it without a toilet. When I went on family outings, by Mom and sister has a hard time peeing 😞
