What is the average time of day do you think a woman spends on her appearance including makeup?

I just read a study that the average woman spends 55 minutes a day on her appearance. I am not sure that agree with that. That is a lot of time. I know that many of the younger women don't wear much if any makeup at all. I am sure that she spends time with hair and clothes. Maybe some spend closer to two hours and some spend about 10 minutes. I just thought an hour a day may be a bit high, but I could be wrong. What do you think?

A day? I'd say an hour is quite fitting, depending on how my hair is behaving - sometimes I require more time than others.

30-40minutes in the morning: brushing teeth, skin care, make up (then the hair)

And 20ish minutes in the evening: brushing teeth, skin care, find clothes for the next day.

Will be even longer if the podcast I'm listening too has me on the edge of my seat.

I think 5–10 minutes would be more accurate, unless taking a shower is included.

I have no idea. My wife takes about five minutes. It can take her half an hour to decide what to wear but she always looks great.

I think showering and adding lotions or creams and shaving etc all count so I can see why they say 55 minutes
