Does my Coworker like me? Is she just being friendly or am I reading too much into it?

Hello, Everyone!

I started a new job going on two and a half months now and i was apart of a small class. One of the women that started with me and during training we started to get a bit closer especially when it came to interacting and sitting next to each other. Eventually it go to the point where her and I were always talking, sitting next to each other, Having lunch together and even when we would cross paths on our breaks we would end up sitting with each other and talking even more, leaving work together, ETC

It got to the point where we were almost always together and at times we have lunch or not interact at times as well. I would always catch her smiling at me even when passing by or if im behind her. we swapped numbers and text occasionally.

We went out for happy hour with some coworkers and she would interact with me but not really how she was at work with me. We did have one coworker tried to push us together but she shut that down. Then going back to work it was the same with being around each other/talking and at times not having lunch together or leaving together.

That same coworker (from Happy hour) would make comments to me about her and when im going to make a move on her or how i got so close with her. He apparently would make the same comments to her and about how our relationship/how close we are.

we did talk briefly a few days ago about it and she told me she would always tell him that we're friends and that im the homie but he would still push us being together, she ended up telling me that she finally told him that she's just here to work and make money, is open to platonic friends and if she does want a boyfriend she would have one already.

Apologies for the long message! Am I crazy to think she likes me? Part of me thinks she's just being really friendly?

I mean…she likes you platonically, given what you’ve said she has said. If you don’t feel the same way as she does then let her know.

Thank you! I felt the post was too long and didn't end up adding these but When we have work outings that are optional she'll say it depends on who's going but if she sees that i am or during our conversations its brought up that i am she always goes.
she has brought it up on occasion about us grabbing lunch somewhere together but i never really responded and when we have casual fridays she usually compliments whatever im wearing multiple times throughout our shift or after (sometimes under hear breath but i still hear it).

Figured maybe im just thinking too much into it

You’re thinking too much into it. She was quite clear that she didn’t want to date anyone she worked with. That being said, she might like you and would have dated you had you guys not been coworkers.
