Do you get the flu vaccine every year or have you skipped it?

I've never gotten one and haven't gotten sick. I know people who got flu shots and got the flu.
I no longer trust what is in vaccines and don't want to take a chance on vaccine inuries. I trust my immune system. Our bodies didn't evolve with a shortage of pharma.

I've literally never gotten a flu shot in my life.

I'm not against them, or anything, I just realized at some point that I very literally never get sick. Ever. I haven't had so much as a cold in 30+ years. So I just never both with getting a flu shot.

I wasn't eligible for it until this year. Not sure why im eligible... I just have it on my anxiety meds in big writing whenever I pick it up "YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE FLU SHOT"... Like... does being anxious make me more prone to illness? 🤔

I play it safe an have get my yearly shot. I know people who are anti-vaccine, and they are always getting sick. It never happens to me.

The flu vaccine is for idiots. That quack bullshit is just to sell vaccines and it almost killed my grandma. She would get so sick after the flu vaccine, she says she never felt nearly that bad when getting the flu before. I told her to stop letting the quack doctors give her the flu shot and she never got that sick again.

Southern California. My grandma had a really bad reaction to the flu vaccine. Everybody's body has a different tolerance and reaction for drugs, alcohol, nicotine, contaminants, allergies, and all sorts of other things.

There is absolutely no point in getting a flu vaccine since getting the flu does the exact same thing with the same result.

Getting the flu is your excuse to take off from work and just chill/sleep at the house for a few days. It's like a mini vacation.

and yes the flu does get you sick but the end result is the same you obtain immunity from that strain.

1# I think it's stupid to get a vaccine for the flu when your probably just gonna get sick from a different strain anyway.

2# Because I do manual labor all year round including in the winter time so I'm either outside or in a warehouse that's almost as cold as it is outside.

Tell me what would you rather be doing? Working in 20 to -5 degree weather with as low as a -30 wind chill for 8-10 hours or be sick in bed sleeping for a few days in a nice warm house?

I get the flu vaccine every year. It is a part of my hospital policy plus I do work with some immunocompromised people, so I try to do my best to not spread anything.

I haven’t gotten it since I was 18 or so. I work in the hospital but refuse to take it just like I refused to take the covid vaccine. Sadly the medical industry in America is a big money machine.
