I was focused on trying on clothes (as the purpose of these things), so I did feel “safe” when not focusing on camera peepers. I didn’t check for cameras, in fact it was like a really small booth compared to other department stores that if there was a camera I would’ve found it (I don't know, just a thought).

Also I’m a man so of course I felt safe, this is a woman issue though doesn’t start with women it starts with creepy men. I am a firm believer that a woman’s issue is a human issue and should be resolved, these assholes should be held to the highest extent of the law and more should be done to prevent that.

I installed computer systems in banks and department stores. I was working in a big department store. We were locked in the store at night so we could go anywhere we wanted. I went into the back room which backed up to the dressing rooms. There was a blanket hung up and I looked under it. It covered a two way mirror and on the other side of the mirror was a dressing room. There was a chair fhere too Evidently when one of the guys saw a hot looking girl go in the dressing room he would go in the back and watch her.

I use them regularly. As MemeSupreme has pointed out, there is a growing trend in unisex changing rooms. In most stores, you just don't have the choice. It's a matter of making sure the curtains are closed.

I also see a growing trend of people preferring to buy clothes online or in the store itself, decide at home if they fit and bring them back to the store if they don't like them.

Like a year ago when I bought 3 x new pairs of pants. Yes, I felt safe. The changing rooms were single rooms with locks and there were no cameras near or above me. No reason for me to feel unsafe.

some time earlier this year. Cameras... who cares. I try a garment, nothing more to it. ''Safety''? ... who cares. Try to open the door and I'll just kick it shut again. Broken noses included.
