Anyone else more comfortable around leftist women?

They never bother me, they hate men, if they are interested their ideology forbids them to show any real interest. They're generally OK to do business with. You can talk to them one to one and it's like you're not even male. They don't care or at least have to pretend they don't. I guess the dystopia is in my very bones at this point. I'm not comfortable out of it.

Are you trying to say it's a good thing, because least you don't have to worry about being attractive to them?

And no, I'm not really comfortable around them. Because it usually 'goes down' in a very few clear ways.

Firstly, the authoritarian bent to their proceedings is very real. What I'm trying to say, is that they will get very aggressive if you challenge their views, and cast you out of the group. And of course, in the real world, you have to choose your battles. Especially if you're outnumbered 10 to 1. And you're the only person in the group who has their own, mind, I guess. I can't be myself in those social settings, so basically I have to live a lie. And yes, you can say, just don't be a pussy. But like I say, you have to keep some social niceties to function in someway in society. I just can't go live in some wood or something.

But the ones I do challenge, they end up getting pissed off at me because I don't reflect back their exact views back at them sympathetically.

They're not mentally healthy and it's shut them down. They don't hit on you or even notice you. Right wing girls are a whole other story, they will chase after you hit on you. I'm not used to that and it makes me uncomfortable. I'm used to women that have shut down and can't function. I had no idea that normal women were that into men. I'm used to being left alone.

I don't see much difference honestly, there's one woman I frequent occasionally that often talks about Trump (not sure if she supports him or is against him); but honestly I don't go out with her because I am interested in her ideas.

I am more comfortable around leftist women because they tend to be a lot less judgey, but not always. Lol! But they do tend to be less friendly to strangers than right wing women are—though again not always! I have been more comfortable around certain kinds of right wing women than certain kinds of leftist women. But usually, it is leftists who are more kind and genuine with me and who I get along with better.

There seems to be a rift between the two if I'm not mistaken. As a man I have found that with right wing women there is some sort of "dance" that is expected of me but I don't really know how. Honestly I don't want to but I don't want to be impolite. I have to say I have never seen anything like it. Leftist women don't really like men and want little to do with us. I don't get involved with women so I'm comfortable with that I've even come to rely on it. I'm in a new aria now and there are subtle differences. Women here see men differently , there's a familiarity and subtle expectations. Men and women here know each other and there is a natural back and fourth that I have never experienced. Honestly I don't really want to but these women are sensitive The men seem to pamper them, care for them emotionally and they are used to that. I don't even know how to do that. I never even thought about such a thing. You wouldn't do that to women in LA it would be considered insulting or at least that's what I've always been told.

Can I ask how you usually get along with left and right men? As someone who grew up rural and moved to the city, it kind of sounds like to me that you may have just done the reverse, and are experiencing a little bit of culture shock for small town manners. In a big city, you aren't expected to do much for anyone. But in a small town, you are neighbors. You should become familiar with the people you see regularly, and try to get along with them the best you can. It's no fun to be a pariah in a small town—whether they are mostly left or right wingers. In a big city, there is always somewhere you will find others who get along with you. It doesn't matter as much if your neighbor even knows you exist. Lol!

I've always lived in rural arias but in dystopian blue states. There are no real communities there. Everything cultural stopped working long ago. Relationships between men and women included. Nothing is expected from a man there except to stay away from women more or less. They pretty much hate men except for casual sex of course, they like them fine for that.

Oh, wow. It sounds like you stumbled into some kind of isolated weird city before then, because I have never lived anywhere where the majority of the population behaved in such an unusual way like that. And I have guy friends so I would notice if everyone was cold towards them, even if they treated me normal.

I grew up in southern California its pretty screwed up. People there have families and all that but things are different. The whole thing of a tight nit community and knowing your neighbors isn't a thing. In a lot of cases I think people are afraid their neighbors might shoot them or something. You don't try and get to know people that might be into some pretty bad stuff. As to men and women feminism made them equal or at least it created a situation where not a lot of difference is put between them. I guess people know they're different but there aren't any formal manners surrounding the interactions between the sexes. There is the subtle understanding that men are "oppressors" . Due to this there is always an underlying hostility toward men. Growing up this way it became easy for me to deal with women, in as much as I just didn't have to. I wasn't expected to do anything except stay out of their way and that is easy to do. The idea that I should treat women a certain way because they are women is so foreign to me that I can't even wrap my head around it.

Again that part about not getting to know your neighbors sounds normal for a big city, but all the rest sounds very niche to that particular city. I live in a city now and I've found generally the more progressive the area, the less different men and women are treated, the less women are treated as special and the less men are treated like dangerous. It's been more often when someone thinks I need special treatment that they also assume my male friends may be a threat to me. You may have had very bad luck with your hometown. Sorry about that. Hopefully you are able to adjust to wherever you are now, and people don't give you a hard time about it.

The whole thing about men and women being treated more the same is what I'm comfortable with. The idea of treating a woman differently than me seems bizarre. It would never cross my mind to do such a thing. As to the town I'm in I'm leaving for business reasons soon anyway
