If you could spend a month in the body of the opposite sex what would you want to experience? How do you think it would change how you view them?

I’ve deliberately kept it a month so that each person gets to experience the whole range of perks, emotions, struggles and challenges that comes with being the opposite gender.

Like the menstrual cycle and hormonal fluctuations for women, catcalling, being seen as objects ( from some men) instead of a whole person and the day to day expectations and restrictions imposed on women by society.

Likewise, the challenges that come with being a man- maybe like the expectation of being the primary breadwinner, being expected to take the initiative in relationships or planning, dealing with being told to be tough and suppress your emotions.

(I’m not sure exactly what the experience of being a man is like so I’m basing it on what I’ve heard)

Do you think it would make us understand and respect each other more?
