So i have a female coworker who we started messaging a lot this year at work during work hours and eventually outside of work. But then she said we needed to stop after messaging me all weekend. She later explained she needed to distance us so she could understand our friendship and because her partner suspected something was going on and she wanted to stop out of respect for him. But now we are back messaging constantly as long as she not home with him. She is always staring at me directly into my eyes at work. Neither of us break contact she even told me to stop distracting her the other day and i said i wasn't doing anything and she said its those big blue eyes. She mirrors me at work. If i squat down she does if i get up she does, she is always moving closer to me. Now she keeps bumping into me or brushing against me when its not necessary to, she has even started this light playfully kicking me for some reason. She always smiles at me whenever she looks at me. And the last few weeks she keeps venting to me about her issues even crying in front of me. The people she works with have told me she is doesn't speak well of her partner and they have told her to leave him, she has only ever mentioned something like that to me once. But it feels like there is something going on between us more than friends. I have told her about my feelings a few months ago but she still flirts with me and the last few weeks we seem to have gotten very close. Do you think she is being friendly or there is more going she just won't admit it?

You've given some great details here, she absolutely does like you. And in fact she reminds me a lot of a co-worker I once had on an old job. Also the fact that she keeps saying you guys need to stop talking like this and even telling you to stop messaging her is in indication that she feels temptation from it all. A woman who seriously doesn't want to hurt her relationship and is secure in it wouldn't say that, she would just stop messaging or replying to you until it's time to go back to work or whatever.

What I will tell you though is that a situation like this is bound for trouble. Not only is she in a relationship - albeit a lonely one apparently, but she is a co-worker. Shit can go south with that pretty badly. At some point she could turn on you and complain about you to management - or her man tells her to complain, and then you're out of a job. Or she could do a complete 360 on you and stop texting and change towards you at work, just for you to find out it's because she's now interested in another guy she likes better or is giving her real sex, and she will try to act like you were the one all into her and she never liked you.

I understand you might like her (you said you had feelings for her) but even if she likes you too and she has a partner, that's a recipe for disaster. Try your best to keep that dynamic at friendship.

If you are a gentleman, you keep your fingers off from her. Fornicating a coworker is a big red flag and that is something that you should never do because that can only cause conflicts and jealousy at your workplace.

Let her be and settle her issues by herself. You don't want to be a homewrecker, do you? Even if her current relationship is not seemingly working, you don't want to be the cause for a breakup. That is not your business and you simply keep away from that girl.

You don't know the real reasons why they have issues in their relationship and you should not help making it worse by getting into her pants.
