Does my coworker like me?

One of my male coworkers is always nice to me. When I need help with tasks, he is willing to help and it's clear that he enjoys it. Or when I'm having a bad time or I'm stressed, he senses it and comes to cheer me up. Also, he bullied the boys I liked a few times.

He knows I don't like touching my co-workers, mostly hugs. But last time when I had some problems and I was sad, he helped me and then asked me to hug him if I didn't feel uncomfortable.
Also, he comes to my workplace and just stands there trying to talk to me.
Do you think it's because he's a nice guy or he likes me?

This can genuinely go either way. These actions are general enough to not quite express romantic interest, but at the same time they could, in his own way. Unless something pointedly flirtatious happens then the only way to know for sure is to ask.

He likes you but his behavior is inappropriate. "He comes to my works and just stands there..." Doesn't he have duties of his own?
