Does my coworker have a crush on me?

anyways I’ve been told by a few coworkers that this coworker has a crush on me but i find that kind of bizarre considering he never sparks up a conversation with me we only talk about work related stuff

we’re grocery stockers but anyways he was in the back and the boss send him to help me and two other people work on our aisles and he decided to help me but i only had one cart to do and the other two people had two whole carts and a pallet he helped them but my thing is why would he decide to help me first.

he is an outgoing guy and talks to everyone but around me he gets kind of nervous and is silent but he is pretty nice when i ask him where a certain item goes if i can’t find it myself

I just wanted to know if i should ask him if he has a crush on me/ likes me
(privately of course i don’t want to put him on the spot in front of other coworkers and have them gossip about what happened because i work with some petty people)
because if he does i was going to ask him if he wanted to go out sometime.

no i don’t feel depressed because i work at a supermarket i love my job i just graduated high school last year I’m only 19 and i am in college I work because i choose to work. i shouldn’t make you sad

Why not ask him out and see where it goes. He is shy to talk to only with you so that's hint.
