Why does my coworker Talk to anyone but me?

Question

My coworker is a very friendy Person who always likes to have a Chat with female coworkers (Even the unattraktive older ones) but Not with me. When he approaches me He only Talks at me about work and Looks like He wants to escape as fast as He can and says Things like „I‘ll leave you Alone now.“.

I don’t remember Doing anything to offene him so why does he behave like this? I don’t think He Really despises me Because one Time He gave me a Really Long focused Stare with a wide grin and He oftentimes Stands Really Close in my Personal Space. Does he think I‘m Boring?

Simple- he doesn't "click" with you. And I don't just mean attraction wise. You know how you meet someone and the vibe feels off, or you can't seem to hold a conversation with them no matter how hard you try?

That's why. Yeah, it could be he's also not attracted to you, but realistically, I think it just comes down to him not liking to chat with you on a casual level, so he keeps it to the point and moves on. Trust me, I have coworkers like that: I keep our talk as professional as possible and keep going. It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like talking to them... or they annoy me.

Don't try to overthink it or, even worse, make him change how he feels about you. It's work; as long as he's cordial to you and there's no work drama between you two, I wouldn't even stress over it.

I think that’s just because you give off an uninviting vibe. I am the same too. My classmates used to play tricks and talk to other people but me, I don’t consider myself unattractive but I know I just give off the vibe that is “cold” and “unapproachable”, even my mom and friends say that to me.
That could be one possibility.

Another possibility is that you two just don’t vibes, sometimes no matter how hard we try to befriend someone and try hard to talk but you two just don’t seem to get along.
We can dislike or like someone for no reason.

At my job there’s 200+ people that work in my building. I don’t speak to everyone because my job doesn’t require me to do so only those that speak to me 1st or if I feel comfortable enough with them I will speak. There’s also some I haven’t spoke to a single time since I have been here because they feel a type of way they just always look like they’re upset about something. Now I don’t speak much because I’m just an introvert it’s not because I don’t like anyone I just prefer not to do so. Now I might make people upset because I don’t speak but it doesn’t bother me also if they don’t speak to me Idc.

He is a Player so he is going to Flirt with the Girls he finds Attractive and he will Flirt with the older Women aswell just to look Respectable to those other Women he Finds Attractive, That's just what Players do.

Probably because he senses that you aren't worth knowing or personalities will clash. I've generally thought people that ask questions anonymously on the internet, which you're already anonymous by the way, are toxic/fake people. So, maybe he's doing the correct thing.
