Why does my coworker keep talking to me even when I ignore her?

I'll keep my headphones in, give one word responses with no emotion, not greet her, not look at her, not acknowledge her at all and she'll still ask me how im doing and try to talk to me, why would someone do this.

Ps:I do this because I don't get along with her.

Well, if you don't talk to anybody else either, then she's trying to make you feel comfortable by getting to know you, ... Only she doesn't know how. Lol. ☺️ She might be over anxious about doing it and is unintentionally being obnoxious about it. .. Eh- it happens. 🤓
If you DO talk to everybody else, just not her, then she feels left out and doesn't know how to say that either lol 🤗.
