He is literally my same age while the rest of our coworkers are 60. I’m not sure why he pretends I don’t exist, I’m very nice to him. He will joke with my other coworkers but he is so quiet around me and has only initiated conversation like 3 times. When he does talk to me he starts smiling or looks like he’s about to laugh so then I start smiling and almost start laughing. It’s really awkward. He will also say hi to everyone but me and say bye to everyone but me even if I’m standing right there. He will do everything he can to make sure he doesn’t have to talk to me.
Why does my coworker only ignore me, avoid eye contact, and not talk to me but he’ll talk to everyone else?
