Ladies, if a man cries over say his mom died would you cry with him or tell him to man up and be heartless?

As a woman who has real feelings. I cry with my husband when he's vulnerable. I'm not a heartless bitch that says suck it up and leaves him alone.

Well welcome to NOT being a narcissist or dark personality. You’ll notice when the narcissist stubs their toe they cry for a hour and you must sympathize and bend over backwards for their emotions. But that’s one sided it’s “stop being a little bitch” or it’s “you’re just too emotional” to invalidate your emotions. Whether that’s sadness or anger.

Those people just genuinely lack the ability to empathize with another human being including their spouse. Which… honestly leads a lot of times to a person emotionally and mentally breaking down

I’ve seen this both ways… where a man just tells a woman she’s too emotional… and well… what happens? Obviously she has to be nurturing and understanding of him.

But you cannot win with a narcissistic person. Because when you hide your emotions. You’re simply heartless…

Telling him to man up when he's crying? Who does that? I never heard or seen any woman do that. Also, men and both have emotions. Both feels things. So, it's silly to be nice and considerate to a woman who's crying, but not to a man who got emotional. We all have bad days, go through loss and experience setbacks/failures. Sometimes it gets too much to deal with. So, crying sometimes doesn't make me see him any less of a man. 🤷‍♀️

If she was my partner and she was mad or upset about my crying over my mom or a loved one, she wouldn’t be my partner anymore , because she is a heartless bitch , I lost my Mom a few years ago and losing my Mom hit me very hard compared to a lot of other loved ones I have lost as well , My mom was a very big part of my life , so losing her was devastating to me , and life doesn’t feel the same to me anymore. without her here with me , she passed away to young and I didnt’t see it coming. Losing some one that is a big part of your life is a shitty feeling

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think a woman does him a solid when she tells him to "man up" in a situation like this.

Because he now knows she will never be worthwhile partner. And he can now end the relationship without any reservations of whether he did the right thing or not. I really wish more women that felt this way would actually be vocal about. It's best for everybody involved.
