Hmmm... a perfect day. Well, define "the most beautiful day of your life". I don't think they exist in any absolute sense in the perspective of a lifetime. At least I hope they don't. Because we'd spend our entire lives pining away for that one "most beautiful day" that will never come again.

But think of time as a foam of bubbles with each day being one bubble. I think we can have perfect days within the context of those moments. The places. The people we're with. The events of that moment in time. The food. The weather. The music. The achievements. The risks navigated. Each day is unique. It can't be compared with the other bubbles that exist elsewhere in the foam.

In that context, I've experienced a lot of "perfect days" where I've had the awareness to realize, "Wow, that was a great day as I drifted off to sleep". Skiing in "perfect" snow and weather". Summiting a mountain. Body surfing great waves. The birth of 2 perfectly healthy sons. Surviving a battle in combat. Launching a business. A night out with friends where everything seemed to go great for everyone all night long. Romance and the "first time" with a new love interest.

Yes. I also might experience it tomorrow. My attitude is what makes it the best or not the best.

The only world in which we already had the best, is a world we limit ourselves from finding more. 😉

Every day is the most beautiful day of my life.

Whether I laugh or cry, hurt or heal in a day makes no real difference to me in the big picture. I mean, of course I get caught up in all the problems and troubles that life can reflect to us but when it's all said and done , so what?

It's still a beautiful world and an amazing life experience and since today is the only day I will ever get, it is the most beautiful day of my life. 😊

I thought I did but now that I come to think of it, I have not yet experienced it. I feel like the most beautiful day of my life will either be when I get married to the person I'm supposed to be married to or when I have my first child.

I've had both but I still think, for me, it was the day I got married. I'm sure my wife would say it's when our children were born and I accept that.

I've had some great days in my life that have made me very happy, all of them shared with loved ones. But the way I envision my future or how I want it to be, I can only hope "the most beautiful day of my life" is ahead of me.
