Is it big deal when your friend hide stories from you?

When your “friend” hides stories from you is it bug deal or nothing serious? I reacted vet emotionally and said that if she doesn’t want to be my friend she can say it openly than doing such things like hiding stories. I actually felt passive aggressive energy from her for a long time.
Do you think, my reaction is too much? And it’s not big deal

what do you mean "hiding stories". I have tons of stories, I'm not going to dump all of them at once on a new friend. Then their is consideration. Their are a lot of stories that people just don't want to hear. Like I'm not going to share a lot of my adult tales with my mom.

Some stories may also be traumatic and embarrassing and she may not be keen on sharing them.

Some stories should be shared, like any story that affects you, but if the story has nothing to do with you they have no obligation to share.

I don't care. Everyone is entitled to have have their own privacy. I don't tell every single detail to my friends.
