But seriously. Both partners should want to take care of eachother. That's why it's called a PARTNERSHIP. I am a little intrigued in how you guys came to this determination. I mean on one hand I think what she is offering is thoughtful. But WHY is she offering that? I could say the obvious, that women today generally don't want to offer ANYTHING in a relationship. But not only is she meeting you halfway she's actually WANTING to take care of you. So the question is WHY. What does she gain by this. Very few people today anything without an ulterior motives. And I'm not suggesting it's necessarily any nefarious. But you do have to wonder.

My take on this is take what she offers if that's what you want to do. But do it within reason. You're a man and conduct yourself as such. Which means taking care of her in kind. Which means building and maintaining your life. Just because she wants to "take care of you" doesn't mean abandoning your life. You can take care of eachother.
