Today I saw a guy that used to talk to in 2022. We went to one date. Things didn’t go well and we stopped talking. It ended in bad terms. He was the one who cut things off
Today I saw him in public after 6 months. I was walking up and he was walking down with his friends. It was dark and I was wearing dark. He immediately recognize me from afat. His friend was talking and he went silent. When I saw him I turned my head down ( I got nervous). Then I looked up when I got closer so I could steal a glance but he was already staring at me and our eyes met.

Cuz he feels as awkward as you do.
Why? I’m the one who was dumped…
Have you ever dumped someone?
Long time ago, why? by the way he cut things off with me 3,5 years sgo so long time ago
Okay so you dumped someone a long time ago, and this other man broke it off with you a long time ago.
Would you feel awkward interacting with the guy you dumped?
No, because I don’t think he’s interested anymore. We’ve moved on
You don't need to still be interested in order to feel awkward. Maybe he's just embarrassed to see a girl who dumped him while he's out with his friends.
Are you suggesting that the guy you dumped still has feelings for you and that is why he's awkward?
Actually he dumped me
Oh right my bad, so you are suggesting the guy who dumped you still had feelings for you?
I’m wondering why is he quick to recognize even from afar and there’s tension…
It's likely reflex, not an active choice. And like I said, it's awkward for him.
I personally never forget a face. Especially one I used to date.
So he probably doesn’t think about me?
I’ve heard that he’s still single after 3,5yrs
I would guess he does not think about you no.
Is it bad to be single for 3-5 years? I'm not sure why you bring this up.
