Meaning of girl laying hand on my thigh seemingly out of nowhere?

We were at a party, sitting together and drinking. After a few hours, when things had relaxed and we were looking at our phones, she placed her hand on my thigh seemingly out of nowhere. As far as I remember, it was near the center to inner thigh — though the memory is a bit blurry since we were all drunk. Her hand stayed there for quite some time. I just let it be; I didn’t reciprocate or reject the touch.

The thing is, before that moment, our conversations had always been completely platonic. She’s a friendly person, but not really the touchy type. So, from my point of view, it felt like a very bold move, since physical contact between us — even during conversations — was basically non-existent.

Do you think it’s worth asking her about what happened, or should I wait to see if she does something similar again to be sure? Maybe it was just the alcohol talking?
