I try to hook up with this girl but she rejected because she says she only hooks up with black guys because of the obvious reason or stereotype that society says. I find the phrasing of the question a bit faulty. It's not one or the other. Her preference is black guys. And any preference as it pertains to a hookup is inherently shallow, because it's a hookup, not a date, so what is there to go on other than physical attributes? Therefore, it's a shallow preference.

Yeah I was a little put off when she said that. I think she said it because her friend had been single for a while and haven’t had sex for a long time. I do feel bad because I did kinda take her up on it and had sex with her friend.

Sounds like she’s just trying to shoo you away because she’s not attracted to you. And you might be the shallow one for thinking BBC is all black men could offer in a hookup relationship, which explains why she replied the way she did at the end.
