Peeing all over the Toilet Lid?

We've all heard about men leaving the toilet seat up and women falling in (at least on TV. I don't know anyone who has admitted to doing that IRL). But I always lower the seat AND the lid. So I wonder, has anybody ever been in a hurry, sat without looking, and accidentally started peeing on the lid before they could get up and fix the problem?

No. I don't know anyone who would not notice if the seat was up or down. If there was they would learn fast to notice from then on.
