If a girl at the gym frowns after eye contact, did I ruin my chances?

There’s a cute girl at my gym, and it is pretty clear to me that she has checked me out a few times in the past. For example, it’s a planet fitness, and I’ve been on the treadmill and seen her in the mirror standing and watching me.

I look at her too, we have made eye contact a lot, but usually immediately break it off. Today I was on a machine close to her and our eyes met for like a second or two, and I disengaged. I looked again she looked at me and frowned!
