Do most women really prefer toxic men over kind, ‘boring’ guys?

I agree with this , because I have witnessed and experienced girls’ through the years that have dumped a guy, because of one of these reasons , but the guys’ that treated her not so nice all the time , that cheated on her , or lied to her , or bailed on her , and talked shit on her , she is still by his side , in love with him. So it just goes to show most girls’ love drama in her life , what do you think?

I’m a million miles away from toxic but I have a really colourful past. Been in horrible situations and done some really horrible stuff. But my wife has always kind of been attracted by that and she also knows and very assured that she is always safe. We’ve been together since we were 14 yo and she has been by side to some pretty dark places. I now have an amazing business and she has a brilliant job as well, things worked out perfectly but I can tell you now that she just couldn’t put up with someone that dull and boring she needs to stimulated it’s just her character I guess

Are those really the only two choices?
Aren't there any kind, caring, protective men who are fun, exciting and not boring?

I don't know why anyone would want to be with someone who was either toxic or boring.

I honestly don’t think most women specifically want the toxicity in itself, they’ve just fallen for the wrong person and don’t know how or when to walk away.

I remember looking at a traits study that looked at what women valued most and fun was number 2 behind looks. I know that fun definitely outweighs "kind" or if you're extending that out to security. When I think of boring I'm thinking of an accountant who probably doesn't do much beyond say work and watching the footy.

People who go through a range of emotions together create stronger bonds than those in a neutral state. Women definitely love drama have you not seen the desperate housewives.

@Finchie40 Yet think it it this way flipped 🙃- I for one do want a humble, kind woman - yet if she's always too shy to want to go out or see the world or even do anything like go out to town, go out interstate - they become a bore, true?
