Why do some people call their partners “daddy” during sex?

This actually makes my skin crawl. My wife when we were figuring things out asked my if that's something I wanted. I told her quite firmly that the only time I wanted that name used with me in any manor is when she's telling our future kids "go give daddy a hug" or something similar.

And it's not just women who seem to like this, some men do to. It's just creepy.

Lol. Now what in the world got you two lovebirds thinking about that sort of junk. I've always thought it's part of some kink for gals with daddy issues or guys with pedo tendencies.

Having said this, when I was married we had kids right away and hubby became "daddy" permanently even when I was saying good morning and giving him a kiss. And I became "mommy" permanently as well. I think mostly bc the kids were young and bounding into every room. The rare times we were on our own we called each other "love"/"my love" and that was hard to stop even months after we split up... force of habit after 10 years of trial and error. (Random tangent... Anyway... )
