I like that. 8m not religious but whether you look from religion to mother nature or just personal opinion I've always said i want connection and relationship because it's about being there supporting eachother. The word "weak" in that clip is probably antagonistic. Men prefer subservient women over "support when weak" and explains why that phase was changed my mens eon ago.. But I believe a lot of men found strength in having a wife at home in traditional times. Thats where love came from and grew. Women see vulnerability behind closed doors in men that had to be abrupt, dominant, strong to get by in those days. Feelings were seen as weakness so women were seen as weak whilst secretly men loved having that safe person to confide in.

Nowadays men no longer have to hide feelings as much but women feel they have to put that strong armour on to not be viewed as "weak" because equality is the modern standard. It shows how much words and labels can change a whole societies perceptions. We still need the right words to get where we need to be. I notice the happiest longest lasting couples always use terms like best friend, equal, companion when describing their partner.
