I love and lived football soccer... for many years

but I've stopped watching it for many years, because the modern status of the game is more entertainment and BETTING INSANITY than a spot

but, the World Cup IS THE WORLD CUP!

and I still love and watch this one competition

Soccer is an inherently low scoring game so you have to appreciate the ball handling and defensive play along with the physical conditioning that allows 90 minutes of play at that output level. Yeah, I think it's a good game. Way better than baseball or golf.

I tried to find the fun of it this World Cup but most of the games put me to sleep. The last 20 minutes of Argentina games are exciting though I admit

I think they scored 3 pretty late against Egypt too, that was also exciting and Cape Verde was a dramatic back and forth game, so that team is fun to watch. A lot of them, not so much.

Well, I have never sworn at my TV as much. It's like they didn't bother to watch the Egypt game. They will take you apart if you play like that. England are shit in defence and Argentina have the quality and the incisiveness to break through easily.
