Should I go to this party if I feel like I’m being used as image bait?

Long story short this girl invited me to a party.

at first I was appreciative. Then I noticed a few things that seemed off.

Like there is another woman (whose English is not very good) who she knows way more than me. Why didn’t she invite her? Why is she so persistent that the people she called including me, attend?

From what I gather, she curated the guest list to invite people who would look good on her for attending. She is hosting this party with multiple people and I get the sense she wants to make a good impression on them.

When I asked her who else is coming that I may know she said no one but I’ll know her.

The only draw to this party is that she mentioned a lot of people are coming so I wonder if I’d make some new friends.

Go ahead and go if you want to. If you think she selfishly used you to make herself look good, go to the party and selfishly use it to try and make new friends. Or just enjoy yourself at a free party, whichever.

The thing is, I don’t think this girl is all bad. Like she had said something like I can pay for your Uber if anything and initially I thought that was offensive. I now realize that she just wants people to go to that party as she said similar things to others.

Was she respectful about it? Not really. But the root reason was she just wants people to go.

I ask myself if she didn’t mention a lot of people were coming would I go? Probably not.

So I don't know if like I shouldn’t just look at that as a factor but all factors

Nobody likes going to a party alone, maybe she just wants to be around as many people as possible that she's comfortable around, for all you know she might be betting on who can bring the most people to this party, you never know 😂

I think she seems to pick and choose people based on status

You probably don't have much to lose, amd you seem curious anyway. Its hard to determine what you should do without your relations to this women.

I wouldn't go and I tend to distance myself from this type of woman.
