Women, did men approach you less after you turned 18, and why?

When I was a teen I read a conversation about a woman saying as soon as she turned 18, she got less attention from men and found that profoundly disturbing as the attention she got was almost always by men of legal age before that.

The only girls who disagreed were those who went out to party.

I personally noticed that as well, but I also turned 18 around the #metoo movement and believe it had a lot to do with that.

Men are more hesitant because of changing societal norms.
It's easy for vindictive women to ruin a man's life.
Expectations are impossible to follow.
It's a tough world.
